PrivateGriffe, an internet web marketplace where people may buy and sell second hand items by fashion brands, secured its second financing round in a year.
Founded by ceo Leonardo Cucchiarini, Private Griffe received a total investment of 2.7 million euros by Ad4Ventures (1.1 millions), Italian tv broadcasting group Mediaset’s corporate venture capital; and by a group of private investors (1.6 millions) identified by Italian private bank  Banca Esperia (jointly controlled by Mediobanca and Mediolanum banks).
Some months ago Private Griffe received an investment of other 1.2 millions by  Vam Investments and a group of private investors identified by Banca Esperia as well.
All the new investors are now partenrs of seed investor AngeLab, a venture capital vehicle founded by Angelo Moratti, which supported the start up of the company with a 12% stake in the capital.
«New capital was raised in order to manage the launch of an important advertisement tv campaign, to improve the technology of the e-commerce platform and hire new resources”, a press release says.
