Italian social lending online platform Prestiamoci raised a 450k euros financing round subscribed by Italian venture incubator Digital Magics and other investors who had subscribed a previous round in October 2013. Digital Magics invested 107k euros (download here the press release).
Some members of the Digital Magics Angel Network also invested in the deal. The newtwork includes more than 100 private, institutional and corporate investors who are active with Digital Magics in the selection, mentorship and investment process in digital startup companies.
Federico Provinciali, a former manager in Barclays, Banca Clarima and UniCredit. and an advisor to Prestiamoci who has been supporting the company since last year in rebuilding its credit issue and management system, entered Prestiamoci’s Board of Directors, acquired a stake the company’s capital and has been appointed Chief Risk Officer.
