UniCredit announced yesterday the launch of its Unicredit Start Lab ( www.unicreditstartlab.eu), a plaform offering coaching and incubation services to innovative start up companies. Unicredit’s ceo, Federico Ghizzoni, attended the presentation conference (download here the Italian press release).
Unicredit platform will select the most innovative startups through a severe scouting process by help of its partners and will give support to selectioned startups (i.e. coaching, mentorship, incubator services, commercial contacts, …).
Moreover, Unicredit Start lab might invest 250,000 euros in each startup, together with its partners H-Farm, M31, LVenture Group, TTVenture, Digital Magics and Como Next.
As for financial sector statups, Unicredit will provide its FinTech Accelerator, an enterprise accelerator which will give selectioned startups a 10,000 euro grant, a place in its dedicated space and mentoring services in exchange with a right to Unicredit to use the business solution developed by the startup company.
