Canada-based OpenText, an information management platform, announced on Thursday that it has acquired Ireland-based KineMatik to add automated business processes and project management solutions to its OpenText Content business.
The financial details of the acquisition has not been disclosed.

KineMatik offers Workflow Automation, Document Change Control, Project Management, and Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) solutions. These solutions are built on OpenText’s Content Server.
KineMatik works with leading organisations in life science, technology, finance, energy and other industries looking to transform their digital and content services. It helps them achieve this by developing innovative and tailored automation solutions.
“KineMatik helps enterprise customers in regulated industries meet the highest standards in business process and project management, a key component in Information Management,” Barrenechea said.
KineMatik’s customers include Abbott, TechnipFMC, ZOLL, Wells Fargo and Canadian Nuclear Laboratories.
